The junior suite delivered a charming canal view, allowing us to bask in the tranquil ambiance while enjoying the soothing sounds of church bells. Situated just a five-minute walk from major landmarks, the hotel finds itself in a peaceful area that keeps you away from the hustle of crowded alleyways yet remains conveniently close to everything worth seeing.
Mornings greeted us with a bit of noise from garbage collection, which may tick off those looking for uninterrupted sleep. The room felt more like a large bedroom rather than a spacious suite, so if you're expecting room to spread out, that could be an issue. At high tides, the access to the hotel via water taxi isn't always guaranteed, making it tough for those hauling luggage, especially if you’ve got any mobility issues.

Our stay was delightful, particularly due to the superb location that allowed easy access to major attractions and dining options. The junior suite we booked was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after our daily explorations. The breakfast was impressive, with a variety of hot dishes and fresh fruits that kept us satisfied every morning. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, even allowing an early breakfast on our departure day, which was a thoughtful gesture.

My stay at Aqua Palace was delightful. The exquisite Venetian décor throughout the hotel, particularly in the lobby featuring wood beam ceilings, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive, making my experience even more enjoyable.
More accessible seating areas for seniors would help.

The Junior Suite we stayed in was spacious for our family, and we loved the clean bathroom with double sinks. We enjoyed relaxing with a drink in the cozy lobby water taxi area and took a lovely gondola ride right outside the hotel. Just a bit of morning noise was a small trade-off for such a beautiful setting. I’d definitely recommend trying the water taxi for your airport transfer! 🍷

Canal view from my room was stunning. The location near Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square was perfect. Staff greeted me warmly and offered great service. The hotel’s decor had a nice old-world charm that I loved. Breakfast had a decent variety, but the hot food selection felt limited, and I didn't find it very satisfying. I would have appreciated an iron in the room instead of having to ask for one. The shower could use an update as it seemed a bit dated. Late garbage collection right outside my window was noisy in the morning, which disrupted my sleep. Overall, I enjoyed my time here despite the few inconveniences.

We had a small-ish double room at the top. The bed was super comfy, which made for great nights. The temperature control worked really well, and the facilities were impressive for a cozy space. No views from the room, but that didn’t take away from the experience. The room felt luxurious and well-appointed, perfect for a couple’s getaway. Overall, it was a satisfying stay in terms of comfort.

Perfect for couples looking for a nice getaway
We stayed for 3 nights, and the staff, they were on point. I mean really helped us out, especially when it came to breakfast. A lovely lady in the dining area remembered my coffee order every morning, which was a rare touch. The room was facing the canal, fantastic view. Felt like a scene from a movie every time I looked out.
Yeah, it wasn't exactly cheap, but worth every penny.
